Heat 95, Wizards 94

Dwyane Wade hit two free throws with 7.9 seconds left as the Miami Heat overcame a five-point deficit in the final 30 seconds to rally for a 95-94 victory over the host Washington Wizards on Saturday.

LeBron James had 32 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Miami, while Wade and Bosh scored 20 points apiece. The victory was the 12th in a row for Miami (21-8).

Washington’s Kirk Hinrich missed a short jumper with two seconds left for the potential game-winner. Hinrich also made just one of two free throws with 12.6 seconds remaining prior to Wade’s two decisive free throws.

Nick Young matched his season-high with 30 points for Washington (6-19), which has lost seven straight games.

Washington led 91-86 before Chris Bosh hit a 3-pointer with 27.7 seconds left to start Miami’s game-ending 9-3 run. The Wizards’ collapse included two missed free throws by Josh Howard, a costly turnover by Young and Hinrich’s key missed free throw.

Miami tied the game at 93 on two free throws by James Jones with 13.6 seconds on the clock.

Andray Blatche had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Washington.

Young moved into the starting lineup for the first time this season when Gilbert Arenas was dealt to the Orlando Magic earlier Saturday. Washington received forward Rashard Lewis from Orlando.
