Dwight Howard had 22 points and eight rebounds to help the Orlando Magic end a season-worst four-game losing skid by posting a 94-85 victory over the host Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
Jameer Nelson added 17 points and nine assists for Orlando (16-8).
Eric Gordon scored a game-high 28 points and had eight assists and Blake Griffin had 27 points and 16 rebounds for the Clippers (5-20). The double-double was the 12th in a row for Griffin.
Orlando’s Brandon Bass notched his first double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Vince Carter added 13 points and seven rebounds.
The Clippers shot just 38.1 percent from the field, including 4-for-23 from 3-point range.
Rashard Lewis also scored in double figures for Orlando with 11 points.
Orlando led 59-40 at halftime but scored just 10 third-quarter points to allow the Clippers to stay within range despite poor shooting and being outrebounded 54-42.
