Magic 108, Timberwolves 99

J.J. Redick and Jason Richardson scored 21 points apiece as the Orlando Magic came from behind to take out the Minnesota Timberwolves, 108-99, at the Target Center on Saturday.

Dwight Howard chipped in 16 points and nine rebounds while Ryan Anderson added 15 and 11 for the Magic, who snapped a two-game skid.

The Timberwolves took control at the start, jumping out to a 29-16 edge after the first quarter and holding Orlando off enough in the second to take a 55-48 lead into the break. The third quarter belonged to the Magic, however, as Howard made a layup and Jason Richardson knocked down consecutive 3-pointers to spark a 12-3 run opening the frame.

Orlando pushed the lead to 96-84 when Redick nailed another 3-pointer with 4:37 left in the game. Minnesota had one more burst in it, closing to 102-99 with 21 seconds left, but Richardson, Jameer Nelson and Redick each hit two free throws to seal it.

Corey Brewers finished with 23 points and Kevin Love collected 11 points and 15 rebounds for the Timberwolves.
