Wizards 83, Trail Blazers 79
Andray Blatche scored 17 points and Cartier Martin sank a clutch 3-pointer as the Washington Wizards snapped a four-game losing streak Friday with an 83-79 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, who have lost six straight.
JaVale McGee added 13 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks for Washington.
Brandon Roy scored 18 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 and 15 rebounds for the Blazers, who completed an 0-5 road trip and are in the midst of their longest losing skid in four years.
Portland held a 46-34 lead at the half but didn't score for the first four minutes of the third quarter. Kirk Hinrich scored seven points and Gilbert Arenas added six as Washington took a 59-57 lead into the fourth.
The Blazers took a 69-67 advantage before Martin drained a 3-pointer and added a free throw 45 seconds later as Washington reclaimed the lead with 4 1/2 minutes to play. Blatche scored six down the stretch to seal the victory.
