Steve Nash scored 20 points on 8-of-8 shooting and added 17 assists while committing just two turnovers in leading the Phoenix Suns past the Washington Wizards, 125-108, on Sunday.
Hakim Warrick chipped in 26 points off the bench and Jason Richardson scored 21 for the Suns, who shot 58 percent en route to their third straight victory.
The Wizards kept it close in the first half, going into the break trailing 64-61. But Phoenix broke it open in the third quarter, outscoring Washington by a 31-17 margin in the frame to stretch it to 95-78.
Richardson had nine points in the third and Channing Frye added seven to help the Suns pull away.
Phoenix extended its lead to 118-98 after Richardson hit a pair of 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter.
Andray Blatche had 24 points and John Wall finished with 12 points and 12 assists for Washington, which has lost its last eight meetings with the Suns.
