Kings 116, Wizards 91

Beno Udrih scored 23 points and Jason Thompson added season highs of 22 points and 14 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings ended an eight-game losing streak with a 116-91 rout of the visiting Washington Wizards on Wednesday.

The victory was the first for Sacramento (5-15) since defeating the New Jersey Nets on Nov. 19.

Al Thornton scored 20 points for Washington, which lost its third straight game and fell to 0-12 on the road this season. The Wizards (6-15) played without rookie point guard John Wall, who missed the game with a foot injury.

Thompson made 10-of-15 shots, helping Sacramento shoot 54.2 percent from the field. The Kings took control by outscoring the Wizards, 66-43, in the middle two periods.

Pooh Jeter had 13 points and nine assists off the bench, Omri Casspi had 12 points and six steals and Donte Greene also scored 12 points for the Kings.

Gilbert Arenas scored 19 points and Kirk Hinrich added 18 for the Wizards, who gave up an average of 118.7 points on their three-game trip.
