Zach Randolph had 19 points, 13 rebounds and five assists as the Memphis Grizzlies jumped out early and coasted to a 103-85 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Monday.
Reserve Darrell Arthur scored 14 points, and Mike Conley had 11 points and 11 assists for the Grizzlies (39-32), who moved two games ahead of idle Houston for the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
Memphis faces a tough three-game stretch with road games against Boston and Chicago before a home contest with San Antonio.
Paul Millsap had 15 points for the Jazz (36-35), who lost for the 13th time in their last 18 games and fell three games behind Memphis.
The Grizzlies got 27 points from the bench and nine points from Randolph to forge a 54-42 edge at the half.
Randolph and Tony Allen scored eight apiece in the third quarter as Memphis extended the lead to 80-65 heading into the fourth.
Utah, which had 19 turnovers, never challenged in the final 12 minutes.
