Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook scored 40 of their combined 54 points in the second half as the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder pulled away to defeat the Utah Jazz 121-105 on Saturday.

Westbrook had 33 points and 10 assists, and Durant finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Thunder (33-17) won their third straight and fifth in their last six games. Oklahoma City moved four games ahead of Utah in the Northwest Division.

Paul Millsap bounced back from his worst scoring night of the season with 34 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds for the Jazz (30-22), who have lost nine of their last 12. Millsap scored six points in Utah’s 113-106 victory at Denver on Friday night, which matched a season low.

Deron Williams had 14 points and 11 assists as the Jazz fell to 17-6 when he has 10 or more assists. Al Jefferson added 21 points and eight rebounds.

Oklahoma City outscored Utah 35-20 in the second quarter to take a 62-57 lead. The Thunder began the period with a 9-0 run and ended it with a 13-3 burst as Eric Maynor scored all 10 of his points in the quarter.

The Thunder bench outscored the Jazz reserves 33-14, including 29-7 in the first half.
