Deron Williams finished with 30 points and 10 assists and Paul Millsap added 16 points and eight rebounds as the Utah Jazz pulled away from the Golden State Warriors 108-95 on Monday.
C.J. Miles chipped in 20 points off the bench and Al Jefferson had 13 for the Jazz, who embark on a four-game road trip beginning Friday that will take them through Christmas.
Utah trailed 52-45 early in the third before taking control with a 10-2 run capped by Williams’ 3-pointer. It was 74-70 in favor of the Jazz going into the fourth when Miles took over, scoring on three straight possessions to forge a 10-point edge.
The Warriors would pull back to within 88-82 with 6:24 left in the game but Williams responded with nine points over the next two minutes to put it away.
Dorell Wright led Golden State with 20 points and David Lee added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Warriors, which have dropped seven in a row.
