Jason Richardson scored 25 points and Steve Nash matched his season-high with 16 assists to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 107-101 victory over the host Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
Grant Hill added 24 points on 9-of-11 shooting as the Suns evened their record at 9-9.
Monta Ellis scored 38 points for the Warriors (8-11). Golden State has lost nine of its last 11 games.
Phoenix led by 14 points with less than seven minutes to play before Golden State closed the gap with a 10-0 run.
The Warriors got within 95-92 on a 3-pointer by Dorell Wright but Nash hit two free throws to start a 10-5 Phoenix run.
Phoenix made all 13 fourth-quarter free-throw attempts and was 21-of-22 overall.
David Lee had 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists for Golden State. Wright added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Ellis made 16-of-27 shots and had seven assists.
Nash scored 13 points and Channing Frye had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns.
