Heat 98, Celtics 90 (OT)
LeBron James led the way with 35 points and 14 rebounds as the visiting Miami Heat took a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series with a 98-90 overtime victory over the Boston Celtics on Monday.
Dwyane Wade added 28 points and nine rebounds, and Chris Bosh had 20 and 12 for the Heat, who will attempt to close out the Celtics in Miami on Wednesday.
James, Bosh and Wade combined to score all 12 points in overtime for Miami, which held Boston to one field goal and forced four turnovers in the extra session.
Boston began a wild finish in regulation when Delonte West drained a 3-pointer from the corner to make it 81-81 with 3:00 left before Ray Allen's 3-pointer from nearly the same spot on the next possession gave the Celtics an 84-81 lead.
James came right back and hit a 3-pointer to tie it, and gave Miami the lead when he drove for a layup with less than a minute to play before Paul Pierce's layup with 41 seconds to go made it 86-86.
Pierce, who missed a shot at the regulation buzzer, led the Celtics with 27 points.
