Kevin Durant scored 26 points, Russell Westbrook had 24 and James Harden added 21 as the host Oklahoma City Thunder recorded a 111-102 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday to even their best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series at one game apiece.
Eric Maynor added 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting as fourth-seeded Oklahoma City recovered from a 114-101 loss to the eighth-seeded Grizzlies on Sunday.
Mike Conley had 24 points and eight assists, O.J. Mayo scored 16 points and Zach Randolph had 15 points for the Grizzlies.
Game 3 is Saturday in Memphis.
Oklahoma City led by 13 points late in the third quarter before Mayo scored eight straight Memphis points to help the Grizzlies pull within 74-68 in the final minute of the period.
The Thunder responded with a 17-5 run to take a 91-73 lead on Harden’s steal and layup with eight minutes left. Maynor hit a 3-point basket 34 seconds later to stretch the lead to 20.
Memphis got as close as six after Tony Allen’s two free throws with 46.1 seconds left.
Oklahoma City made 8-of-14 3-point attempts, including three by Maynor.
Randolph was 2-of-13 from the field after scoring 34 points in the opening game.
