Grizzlies 101, Thunder 93 (OT)
Zach Randolph had 21 points and 21 rebounds and the Memphis Grizzlies rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit to post a 101-93 overtime victory over the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series.
The Grizzlies scored the first six points of overtime after dominating the fourth quarter to stun the fourth-seeded Thunder, who were outscored 38-17 over the final 17 minutes of the game.
O.J. Mayo and Mike Conley scored 18 points apiece and Marc Gasol added 16 for the eighth-seeded Grizzlies, who outscored Oklahoma City 15-4 over the final 7 1/2 minutes of regulation.
Russell Westbrook had 23 points and 12 assists and Kevin Durant had 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Thunder.
Game 4 is Monday in Memphis.
Oklahoma City led by as many as 16 points in the third quarter but helped Memphis get back in the game by scoring just 10 final-quarter points. The Grizzlies, who trailed by 13 entering the fourth quarter, finally caught the Thunder at 84 on a free throw by Tony Allen with 3:19 left.
Allen scored the first basket of overtime and Memphis outscored Oklahoma City 15-7 in the extra session.
Serge Ibaka had 14 points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots for the Thunder.
