76ers 107, Warriors 79
Lou Williams led a balanced attack with 23 points in a reserve role as the Philadelphia 76ers breezed past the host Golden State Warriors 107-79 Saturday night.
Five Philadelphia players finished in double figures as the Sixers improved to 2-2 on their season-opening five-game road trip. Thaddeus Young had 18 points while Andre Iguodala added 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Stephen Curry led the way with 21 points for the Warriors, who were without high-scoring guard Monta Ellis (personal). David Lee chipped in with 19 points but shot just 8-for-24 from the field.
Having built an eight-point lead through two quarters, the Sixers took charge by opening the second half on a 16-3 run. Jrue Holiday keyed the stretch, scoring six points on a pair of layups and an emphatic dunk after being held scoreless in the first half.
The Sixers cruised through the rest of the quarter to sit up by 18 entering the fourth, then made it a 21-point contest on consecutive 3-pointers from Iguodala and Holiday.
The Warriors didn't challenge the rest of the way as they saw their two-game winning streak come to an end.
