Suns 102, Warriors 91

Steve Nash collected 21 points and nine assists and rookie Markieff Morris added 16 points and nine rebounds off the bench as the Phoenix Suns earned their first home win, beating the Golden State Warriors 102-91 on Monday.

Jared Dudley scored 15 points and Channing Frye chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who hit the century mark for the first time this season.

Nash came in averaging 8.3 points on just over 30 percent shooting but hit 9 of 13 from the floor against Golden State.

Phoenix made its move in the fourth quarter, beginning the frame with a 9-0 run to take an 81-69 lead. Ronnie Price started the run with a 3-pointer and the Suns kept the Warriors on the perimeter with four straight misses from beyond the arc to start the quarter.

Golden State would creep back to within 86-82 with 5:00 left but Nash scored 11 points over the next four minutes to keep Phoenix on top.

Monta Ellis recorded 18 points and 11 assists for the Warriors, who have dropped back-to-back games.
