Elton Brand had 21 points and 10 rebounds and the Philadelphia 76ers won their sixth consecutive contest with a 112-85 rout of the visiting Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
Jrue Holiday added 17 points and eight assists for Philadelphia (7-2), which is off to its best start since winning 10 straight to open the 2000-01 season.
DeMarcus Cousins had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Tyreke Evans added 15 points for Sacramento (3-7).
Six players scored in double figures for Philadelphia, which leads the Atlantic Division by two games over the New York Knicks, who they face Wednesday.
Evan Turner had 16 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists, Lou Williams scored 15 points, Jodie Meeks tallied 14 and Thaddeus Young had 10 for Philadelphia, which shot 56.6 percent from the field.
The 76ers led 52-42 at halftime and blew the game open with an 11-0 run to start the second half. Brand had six points during the spurt.
Meeks hit back-to-back 3-pointers late in the third quarter as the 76ers took an 84-60 lead into the final quarter.
Jason Thompson added 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting for Sacramento, which is 0-4 on the road with an average losing margin of 23.3 points.
Kings leading scorer Marcus Thornton missed the game with a thigh injury. Philadelphia’s Spencer Hawes left with a back injury.
