Jazz 113, Cavaliers 105

Al Jefferson had season highs of 30 points and 12 rebounds and the Utah Jazz scored 56 points in the paint to win their fifth consecutive game, 113-105 over the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Jefferson carried the load inside for the Jazz, particularly after Paul Millsap fouled out with 5:33 remaining. Millsap scored 19 points, but had 12 after the first quarter before foul trouble slowed him down.

Reserves Josh Howard had 17 points and Derrick Favors had 14 points for the Jazz, who shot 59.2 percent (45 of 75) from the floor.

The Cavaliers kept it close by shooting 14 more free throws than the home team, a rarity in the NBA. But Cleveland converted just 31 of 43 free throws in the loss.

Antawn Jamison had 22 points and rookie Kyrie Irving had 20 points and four assists for the Cavs, who have dropped three of four on their season-long seven-game road trip.
