Warriors 111, Heat 106 (OT)

Dorell Wright hit the game-tying 3-pointer in regulation and the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime as the Golden State Warriors rallied from a 17-point, third-quarter deficit to notch a dramatic 111-106 victory over the visiting Miami Heat on Tuesday.

Wright’s sixth 3-pointer of the contest with 1:26 left put the Warriors (3-6) ahead for good as Golden State ended a five-game losing streak.

Dwyane Wade scored 34 points in his return from a foot injury for Miami (8-2), which had a three-game winning halted while losing on the road for the first time in six games.

Wright scored 20 points and forced overtime with a 3-pointer with 31.2 seconds left in regulation. He was among four Golden State players with at least 20 points.

Nate Robinson scored 24 points and hit all 14 of his free-throw attempts, Monta Ellis tallied 22 points and David Lee had 20 points and 13 rebounds.

LeBron James added 26 points for Miami but missed a game-tying 3-point attempt with about eight seconds left in overtime. Robinson added two free throws with six seconds left to seal it.

Miami had a comfortable 84-67 lead late in third quarter before Golden State staged a frantic rally. The Heat still led by eight before Robinson scored eight straight points to tie the score at 93-93 with 1:44 to play.

Wade missed three straight games with his injury and returned with a flourish by scoring 20 first-half points as Miami took a 57-53 halftime lead.

The Warriors played without point guard Stephen Curry (ankle) for the third straight game.
