Magic 107, Trail Blazers 104

Seven players scored in double figures and the Orlando Magic made 16 3-point baskets while posting a 107-104 victory over the host Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

J.J. Redick scored 17 points and Ryan Anderson, Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu added 16 apiece for Orlando (7-3), which shot 58.6 percent from the field and 16-for-27 from beyond the arc. Anderson and Turkoglu each had four 3-pointers.

Jamal Crawford scored 24 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 23 for Portland (7-3), which lost for the first time in seven home games this season.

The Trail Blazers trailed 90-70 early in the fourth quarter before getting back in the game with a 23-6 surge, pulling within 96-93 on a basket by Crawford with 2:38 to play.

Turkoglu responded by scoring five straight points to help Orlando hold off Portland’s challenge.

Wesley Matthews scored 17 points, Gerald Wallace added 15 and Nicolas Batum scored 14 points for the Trail Blazers.
