Rockets 90, Hornets 88 (OT)
Samuel Dalembert's rebound slam dunk with 11 seconds remaining in overtime broke a tie and gave the Houston Rockets a 90-88 win over the visiting New Orleans on Thursday night.
Houston (8-7) has won five straight and six of seven. New Orleans (3-12) has lost six in a row and 12 of 13.
Kevin Martin, who scored a season-high 32 points - including 27 in the first half - set up the winning basket with a steal. He drove the length of the floor and missed a layup, but Dalembert trailed the play and slammed home the winning basket.
Marco Belinelli missed a potential game-tying jumper at the buzzer.
Dalembert finished the game with 15 points and 17 rebounds.
Houston led 80-70 with 5:42 remaining in regulation, but the Hornets rallied to tie the game at 82 and force overtime.
New Orleans went ahead early in the extra session, as Jarret Jack's jumper with 3:47 remaining gave the Hornets their first lead of the game.
New Orleans led 88-83 with 2:17 left, but didn't score again. Dalembert's three-point play cut the lead to two before Luis Scola's two free throws tied the game with 1:10 remaining.
Jason Smith scored 17 points to lead New Orleans.
