Nuggets 108, Wizards 104
Al Harrington came off the bench to score a season-high 29 points, lifting the visiting Denver Nuggers to a 108-104 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari added 21 points apiece to help Denver win for the fifth time in six games and improve to 3-0 on its five-game road trip.
Harrington buried a season-best five 3-pointers, the last coming with 1:14 remaining to give the Nuggets a 103-98 lead. He added a dunk with seven seconds left as Denver beat Washington for the fourth straight time and ninth in the last 10 meetings.
Nick Young scored a team-high 25 points for the Wizards, which dropped to a league-worst 2-13.
Harrington scored 10 in the third quarter to help the Nuggets go ahead by as many as eight points before taking an 86-81 lead into the final 12 minutes.
Denver was without center Nene, who sat out the game with a bruised heel.
Young scored 17 first-quarter points to spark Washington to a 37-27 lead, but Lawson rallied the Nuggets by delivering 12 in the second quarter and hitting two of Denver's five 3-pointers to slice the deficit to 63-61 at halftime.
