Magic 92, Lakers 80

Dwight Howard had 21 points and 23 rebounds, and the Orlando Magic made the Los Angeles Lakers' trip to Florida go from bad to worse with a 92-80 victory Friday night.

The Lakers lost to Miami 98-87 on Thursday, and struggled even more against the Magic to fall to 1-6 on the road.

Howard dominated Andrew Bynum (10 points, 12 rebounds) in a much-hyped matchup of centers who could be traded for each other in the next two months. Howard had 10 points and 15 rebounds in the first half to Bynum's one point and three rebounds.

Jameer Nelson had 17 points and nine assists, and J.J. Redick scored 15 for Orlando, which led by as many as 23. Ryan Anderson added 13 points and Jason Richardson 12.

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 30 points and added eight assists. Pau Gasol had 13 points and 10 rebounds, while Derek Fisher scored 12.

The Lakers shot just 4 of 21 (19 percent) in the first quarter and for the game finished 6 of 20 on 3-pointers.
