Raptors 111, Jazz 105 (2OT)
Linas Kleiza scored 25 points as the Toronto Raptors ended an 11-game losing skid against Utah on Wednesday, holding off the host Jazz 111-105 in double overtime.
The win came at a cost for the Raptors, who lost franchise centre Andrea Bargnani to an apparent calf injury - the same one that knocked him out for five games earlier this month. Bargnani finished with 25 points in just his second game back.
Paul Millsap led all scorers with 31 points and added 11 rebounds in defeat as the Jazz lost for just the third time in 11 games at EnergySolutions Arena.
Millsap, who turned the ball over at the end of regulation and again on what could have been the winning possession in overtime, atoned for his gaffes with a long 3-pointer to tie the game with five seconds left in the first extra session. The shot came moments after he converted a game-tying tip-in; Bargnani appeared to injure himself on the play and didn't return.
Toronto took charge in the second overtime period, with Kleiza knocking down a jumper and Jose Calderon following with the back-breaking 3-pointer that put Toronto up 109-103. Utah closed to within three in the final minute, but couldn't get any closer.
DeMar DeRozan added 17 points while Leandro Barbosa poured in 13 for the victors.
Devin Harris had 24 points for the Jazz but missed a pair of free throws in the second OT session that would have closed the gap to a single point.
