Pistons 88, Bucks 80

Rookie Brandon Knight scored a career-high 26 points and the Detroit Pistons snapped a seven-game losing streak with an 88-80 win over the visiting Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

Greg Monroe had his sixth double-double in seven games with 19 points and 11 rebounds to help the Pistons avenge a 21-point thrashing in Milwaukee on Monday night.

Brandon Jennings scored 20 points and Shaun Livington added 14 but they were the only players in double figures for the Bucks, who had their three-game winning streak stopped.

Knight scored 18 points in the first half, including 10 in a 20-6 spurt to close the second quarter, giving the Pistons a 51-41 lead at the intermission.

After Milwaukee cut a 15-point deficit to four points late in the fourth quarter, Knight hit back-to-back baskets to stem the comeback.

Tayshaun Prince added 13 points and Jason Maxiell had eight points and 12 rebounds for Detroit, which won for only the fifth time in 25 games.
