Suns 95, Bobcats 89

Reserve center Robin Lopez led a fourth-quarter charge as the Phoenix Suns got past visiting Charlotte for a 95-89 victory Saturday night, handing the Bobcats their 11th consecutive loss.

The Bobcats, who dropped to 1-13 on the road, were without leading scorer Gerald Henderson, who is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks with a strained right hamstring. Guard D.J. Augustin (toe) missed his seventh consecutive game.

Charlotte (3-21) led most of the way, but collapsed late and is now closing in on the franchise record of 13 consecutive defeats from Jan. 11 to Feb. 1, 2006.

Phoenix's Michael Redd, starting for Jared Dudley (bruised thigh) had 17 points. Marcin Gortat had 12 points and 12 rebounds while Steve Nash added 10 points and 10 assists.

Reggie Williams, starting in place of Henderson, had 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Kemba Walker scored 22 points while Bismack Biyombo added 12 rebounds and 11 points.

Josh Childress' 3-pointer with 9:26 remaining gave the Suns their first lead since the second quarter.

From there it was all Lopez as he scored nine consecutive points for an 84-74 lead. Charlotte closed to five but couldn't end its long drought
