Darren Collison scored a season-best 25 points to help the Indiana Pacers to a 104-99 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Tuesday.
Roy Hibbert added 17 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots and Danny Granger scored 16 points as Indiana improved to 7-2 at home this season.
Paul Millsap had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Al Jefferson scored 16 points for Utah, which has lost four of five games.
Indiana let a 21-point, third-quarter lead get away and missed its first seven field-goal attempts of the final quarter. Paul George hit a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 3:03 left and Granger scored 12 final-quarter points as the Pacers held on for just their third win in the last 11 meetings with Utah.
Indiana led 71-50 after Granger’s layup four minutes into the third quarter. Utah got back in the game with a 17-4 spurt and pulled within 75-67 on Raja Bell’s basket with 5:01 left in the quarter.
The Jazz used another run of 12 consecutive points to take an 85-84 lead when Josh Howard hit two free throws with 7:35 remaining. It was Utah’s first lead since the opening minutes of the game.
George added 14 points for the Pacers, who got 17 first-half points from Collison to take a 57-46 advantage.
C.J. Miles scored 12 points for the Jazz, who are 2-7 on the road this season.
