Suns 107, Bucks 105

Steve Nash, celebrating his 38th birthday, hit the game-winning shot with five seconds remaining and the visiting Phoenix Suns defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 107-105 on Tuesday night.

Nash scored 18 points and had 11 assists as the Suns placed six players in double figures. Marcin Gortat led Phoenix with 21 points and Jared Dudley added 19.

Drew Gooden scored 21 points to pace Milwaukee, which rallied from a 73-52 deficit early in the third quarter to go ahead midway through the fourth period.

Gortat's shot in the lane gave Phoenix a 105-103 lead with 1:28 remaining. Ersan Ilyasova tied the game with two free throws with 44.7 seconds to play.

Phoenix rebounded its own missed shot and called timeout to set up for its last possession. Nash dribbled at the top of the key, drove down the right side of the lane and banked in the winning shot.

Milwaukee called timeout, but couldn't get a shot off as the game ended.

Bucks guard Brandon Jennings' only points came on a 3-pointer with 3:11 remaining that broke a 98-98 tie. He entered the game with a 19.9 average.

Suns guard Michael Redd scored 14 points in 20 minutes in his return to Milwaukee, where he played the first 11 seasons of his career.
