Bulls 90, Hornets 67
Carlos Boozer scored 18 points and Joakim Noah had 13 points and 10 rebounds as the Chicago Bulls cruised to a 90-67 victory over the host New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday.
Taj Gibson scored 14 points and Kyle Korver added 12 as Chicago won its fourth straight game and improved to 5-2 on its current nine-game road trip.
Chris Kaman had 17 points and nine rebounds for New Orleans, which lost its seventh straight game and dropped to 2-13 at home.
The Hornets scored nine points in the final 91 seconds and got a last-second 3-pointer by Marco Belinelli to keep from setting a franchise low for points scored.
Chicago scored the first nine points of the game and never trailed. The Bulls led 44-31 at halftime and pulled further away in the third quarter.
Noah’s basket with under two minutes left in the third quarter capped a 12-2 run that gave the Bulls a 66-39 lead. Noah made six of seven field-goal attempts.
Belinelli had 13 points and Emeka Okafor added 10 points for New Orleans, which shot just 37.3 percent from the field.
