Bulls 95, Bobcats 64
Joakim Noah led the way with 17 points and 14 rebounds as the Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls demolished the host Charlotte Bobcats 95-64 on Friday.
Rose had played only 33 minutes total in the previous two games due to back spasms and was given the night off against the NBA-worst Bobcats.
The Bulls had no need for their superstar, as John Lucas III and C.J. Watson combined for 18 points and seven assists at point guard, while Carlos Boozer helped Noah control the interior with 16 points and six boards.
Charlotte shot just 33 percent in matching a franchise record with its 13th straight loss.
Chicago shot out to a 30-16 lead after the first quarter and took a 56-34 lead into the half, led by 10 points apiece from Noah and Luol Deng. None of the starters lasted more than 30 minutes as the bench took over and continued to pile on.
The Bulls have won five straight and improved to 6-2 on their nine-game road trip. They finish at Boston on Sunday.
Derrick Brown was the only player to reach double figures for the Bobcats, with 10 points off the bench.
