Magic 102, Timberwolves 89

Jason Richardson scored 17 points and six players reached double figures as the Orlando Magic rolled to a 102-89 victory over visiting Minnesota on Monday for their seventh straight win over the Timberwolves.

Kevin Love had 19 points and 15 rebounds and Nikola Pekovic added 16 points and 13 rebounds for Minnesota, which has lost four straight.

The Magic's Dwight Howard, plagued by foul trouble, was limited to 28 minutes. He had 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Timberwolves haven't defeated the Magic since April 11, 2008, a 102-101 win in Orlando. The teams don't play again this season.

Orlando went ahead for good a little over a minute into the game and steadily built its lead throughout the first half. The lead reached 20 points in the third quarter before Minnesota rallied. The Timberwolves cut the lead to eight midway through the fourth quarter, but could get no closer.

Richardson scored 13 points in the third quarter. Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick and Hedo Turkoglu each scored 14 points for Orlando.

Luke Ridnour, the Timberwolves' starting shooting guard, missed the game because of a family matter.
