PISTONS 114, KINGS 108: Rodney Stuckey had a season-high 36 points as host Detroit used a three-guard system to prevail.

The Pistons' guards combined for 72 points, using an uptempo style of play to erase a 10-point deficit in the third quarter and give Detroit its fourth straight victory over Sacramento.

Brandon Knight had a double-double scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 boards. Ben Gordon chipped in with 13 points as the third guard in the system.

Tayshaun Prince added a double-double for the Pistons collecting 22 points and 10 rebounds

Knight and Stuckey hit back-to-back 3-pointers to give Detroit a 108-104 lead with 1:35 remaining.

Tyreke Evans pulled the Kings within two points at 110-108 on a layup with 27 seconds remaining, but Stuckey hit two clutch free throws to restore the four-point margin.

Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins had a double-double in a losing cause with 26 points and 15 rebounds, despite suffering from back spasms prior to the game.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Stuckey went 5 for 5 from the field to score 16 first-quarter points ... Sacramento lost its fourth straight overall ... The Kings' Marcus Thornton has scored 20 or more points in six of the last eight games ... The Kings are in the midst of playing six road games over a nine-day span leading into the All-Star break.
