KINGS 115, WIZARDS 107: Tyreke Evans and Marcus Thornton each scored 22 points to help Sacramento snap a six-game losing streak while sending Washington to its fourth straight loss.
Rookie Isaiah Thomas scored 18 points and DeMarcus Cousins had 16 points and 16 rebounds as the Kings used a late run to win for the first time in eight tries at the Verizon Center.
Jordan Crawford had 32 points off the bench to pace the Wizards. John Wall finished just shy of a triple-double with 21 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds.
Trailing by a point entering the fourth, Thomas hit a jumper for the lead and Chuck Hayes later had a layup for the Kings’ 100-95 advantage. Roger Mason and Crawford answered back with consecutive 3-pointers to put the Wizards back in front 101-100.
Thomas later had a pair of layups, Thornton added a layup and Hayes hit two free throws during a 8-0 spurt that gave Sacramento a 112-103 edge with 1:49 to play. Francisco Garcia helped ice it with a 3-pointer for a 10-point cushion late.
Washington committed 20 turnovers, leading to 27 points.
The Wizards scored the first seven points of the second quarter to grab a 41-29 lead. Crawford hit a jumper, Shelvin Mack had a jumper and Crawford added a layup and free throw. Washington led 68-60 at the half.
