BOBCATS 100, MAGIC 84: Corey Maggette scored a season-high 29 points and host Charlotte erased a 20-point deficit in snapping a five-game losing streak.

Gerald Henderson added 16 points to help the NBA-worst Bobcats (5-31) halt an eight-game home skid and win for only the second time in 23 games.

Charlotte stormed back from an 18-point deficit after coach Paul Silas was ejected late in the first half and ended a string of 10 straight losses (postseason included) at the hands of Orlando.

Dwight Howard had 15 points and 17 rebounds and Ryan Anderson also had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Magic, who finished 13 of 35 on 3-point attempts.

Orlando had buried four quick 3-pointers to open the second quarter and build a 37-17 lead. The Magic led by 18 following the ejection of Silas with 3:53 left in the first half.

The Bobcats responded with a 22-1 blitz, closing the first half on a 14-1 run to cut the deficit to 48-43 before scoring the first eight points of the third quarter. Maggette had 12 points during the surge.

Orlando took its last lead at 79-77 on back-to-back 3-pointers by J.J. Redick and Chris Duhon, but Henderson and Maggette accounted for all the points in a 15-3 spurt as Charlotte took control.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Magic coach Stan Van Gundy was back on the bench after experience chest pains during Monday's game in Toronto. He stayed overnight to get checked out and flew to Charlotte in the morning. ... Charlotte rookie C Bismack Biyombo returned to the lineup after missing two games with a strained left shoulder. He had 10 points and 15 boards. ... Orlando's Quentin Richardson (Achilles) also returned after a four-game absence.
