CAVALIERS 118, ROCKETS 107: Antawn Jamison scored 28 points and Kyrie Irving had 16 points in the fourth quarter to give the Cavaliers their first three-game winning streak in more than 16 months.

The Cavaliers scored 12 consecutive points during a three-minute drought for the Rockets early in the fourth quarter, turning a five-point deficit into a 93-86 lead with 8:36 left. The Cavaliers led the rest of the way thanks to Irving, who scored nine points in the final minute to clinch the win.

Luis Scola scored a season-high 30 points and Goran Dragic had 20 for the Rockets, who were playing the second of consecutive road games and have lost six of seven.

Irving scored 13 of the Cavaliers’ final 15 points. He and Jamison combined to score their last 20 points over the game’s final five minutes. It’s the Cavaliers’ first three-game winning streak since Nov. 5-9, 2010.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Irving shot 2 of 11 through three quarters, but was 3 of 4 in the fourth and made all nine of his free throws. … Rockets guard Kyle Lowry remains hospitalized in New York.
