SUNS 109, PISTONS 101: Jared Dudley scored 23 points and Steve Nash matched a season-high with 17 assists as host Phoenix even its record at .500.
Marcin Gortat scored 16 and Channing Frye added 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Suns won for the 10th time in 13 games.
Rodney Stuckey had 23 points and eight assists and Brandon Knight added 17 points for the Pistons.
Dudley connected on four of Phoenix’s 10 3-pointers, but it was a close-range shot that was his biggest basket.
Dudley rebounded Frye’s miss and put in the follow with 4:20 remaining to snap a tie and give the Suns a 97-95. The hoop started a string of seven straight points as part of a game-ending 14-6 run that put away the Pistons.
Grant Hill and Robin Lopez added 14 points apiece for Phoenix.
Tayshaun Prince and Jason Maxiell each scored 12 points for the Pistons.
Stuckey had 17 first-half points as Detroit led 59-54 at intermission. The Pistons shot 57.5 percent in the half. Dudley had 18 first-half points for Phoenix.
