Ellis, who was traded from the Warriors to the Bucks on Tuesday, hit the opening basket of the game but shot just 6 for 15 in his return to Oakland.

With Ersan Ilyasova sitting out with the flu, Mbah a Moute led the way with 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting and added 17 rebounds for the Bucks, who moved back into a tie for eighth place in the East with the New York Knicks.

Milwaukee jumped out of the gate on fire, taking control with a 31-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors would recover to cut it to 56-43 at the half but the Bucks did not let up.

Milwaukee closed the game like it began, outscoring Golden State 33-23 in the fourth quarter. Mike Dunleavy led the final period barrage, scoring 16 points in the frame and finishing with a game-high 24.
