JAZZ 97, THUNDER 90: Paul Millsap scored 20 points as host Utah shut down Kevin Durant en route to its fourth straight victory.
Millsap buried a pull-up jumper from the corner of the foul line to put Utah ahead 93-87 with 1:19 remaining in the fourth quarter. He scored seven of his buckets in the paint and finished 10 for 16 from the field.
The Jazz snapped a five-game losing skid to the Thunder and sit one-half game behind the Houston Rockets for the eighth and final playoff spot in the West.
Durant scored 18 points, shooting a dismal 6 for 22 with a smothering Utah defense collapsing on the NBA’s second-leading scorer. He missed three 3-pointers in the final minutes.
Oklahoma City failed to top the 100-point mark for the first time in five games.
Russell Westbrook hit a 25-foot 3-pointer and knocked down two free throws to pull Oklahoma City to within one point with just under three minutes remaining. He finished with a game-high 23 points.
Al Jefferson chipped in with 16 points and six rebounds - one of six Utah players scoring in double figures. Devin Harris had 15 points, shooting 3 for 4 from beyond the arc.
Jamaal Tinsley added 11 points off the bench, including a banked jumper after threading the ball through the legs of the Thunder's Nazr Mohammed in the third quarter.
