: Rudy Gay scored 18 points to lead seven Memphis players in double figures as the Grizzlies handed Los Angeles its second home loss in a week.

Memphis had lost five of six games, but was up for the challenge. O.J. Mayo scored nine points to key a 15-5 run for a 93-79 Memphis lead and the Grizzlies staved off a late charge by the Lakers, who fell to 20-4 at home.

Mayo finished with 16 points. Mike Conley had 13 points and eight assists and Tony Allen scored 12. Zach Randolph had 10 points and 12 rebounds. Marreese Speights and Hamed Haddadi each scored 10.

Andrew Bynum led the Lakers with 30 points. Kobe Bryant scored 11 of his 18 in the third quarter. Ramon Sessions also had 18 and Pau Gasol had 16 points and 14 rebounds.

The Grizzlies shot 50 percent in the first half to the Lakers' 38.5 for a 56-46 halftime lead. Bynum led the Lakers in the first half with 16 points on 5-for-8 shooting.

The Lakers used a 15-0 run to erase a 14-point deficit, their largest at home this season before Memphis took a 73-70 lead into the fourth quarter.

The Grizzlies had a 52-36 advantage in points in the paint.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Grizzlies' reserves outscored the Lakers bench 41-9. ... The Lakers fell 103-99 to Utah at Staples Center last Sunday. Los Angeles had won 19 of its last 20 home games since losing the season opener to Chicago. ... The Grizzlies outrebounded the Lakers 27-19 in the first half.
