PISTONS 79, WIZARDS 77: Rodney Stuckey scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half and buried a 20-foot jumper at the buzzer as visiting Detroit snapped a five-game slide.

Tayshaun Prince added 18 points and Greg Monroe recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Pistons improved their road record to 5-20.

Washington, which led by double digits in the fourth quarter, has dropped four straight.

Stuckey’s 3-pointer with 55 seconds left gave Detroit its first lead of the fourth quarter and it went back and forth in the final minute, with Nene’s hook shot knotting it at 77 with five seconds left.

Stuckey took the ball and raced up court, rising up inside the arc and getting the game-winner off just before the horn.

Washington controlled most of the game and led by as much as 67-55 with 8:48 left.

The Pistons made their move from there, ripping off a 12-1 run over the next 4:39 to pull within a point 68-67. The Wizards missed five shots in a row, committed three fouls and were called for a technical foul during the spurt.

Jordan Crawford scored 20 points and John Wall added 14 points, nine assists and seven rebounds to lead Washington. … The Pistons shot less than 30 percent (11 for 37) in the first half. … Nene played 28 minutes after missing Sunday’s game with back spasms and had eight points and nine rebounds.
