Brandon Jennings scored a game-high 25 points and Ersan Ilyasova had 19 points and 15 rebounds to lift host Milwaukee to its seventh straight victory over Toronto.

Jennings, who was averaging 27.3 points over his last three contests, had another strong effort, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Bucks’ playoff aspirations alive. The team received word during a stoppage in play early in the fourth quarter that Philadelphia defeated New Jersey, ending their playoff hopes.

Ilyasova helped the Bucks pull away late when he knocked down back-to-back jumpers to give Milwaukee an 89-81 lead with 1:05 remaining.

James Johnson had a team-high 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Raptors, who dropped their fourth straight contest overall. Toronto turned the ball over 21 times.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Raptors guard Jose Calderon (eye) didn’t play and is expected to miss the remainder of the season. … Bucks forward Larry Sanders (suspension) and swingman Carlos Delfino (groin) didn’t play. … Milwaukee improved to 24-9 versus sub-.500 teams.
