LaMarcus Aldridge had 25 points and 13 rebounds as visiting Portland overcame an 18-point fourth quarter deficit and posted its second straight overtime victory.

Rookie Damian Lillard added 24 points and Wesley Matthews chipped in 19 for Portland, which outscored the Bobcats 39-15 over the final 10:17 of the game and improved to 2-4 on a seven-game road trip.

Ben Gordon scored 27 of his 29 points after halftime while hitting eight 3-pointers and surpassing 10,000 career points. Kemba Walker added 22 on 9-of-19 shooting but shot 2-of-10 after halftime and missed a potential game-winning shot three-tenths of a second remaining in regulation.

Charlotte held a 97-79 lead on a 3-pointer by Byron Mullens with 5:17 remaining but missed seven of its final eight shots in regulation. Portland stormed back with a 23-5 run and forced the extra period on Luke Babbitt's 3-pointer with 22.8 seconds remaining.

Nicolas Batum opened overtime with a 3-pointer and the Trail Blazers never trailed. They sealed their fourth overtime victory in as many games by hitting eight free throws in the final minute.
