Tyreke Evans snapped a late tie with back-to-back 3-pointers as part of a 23-point effort and host Sacramento extended Toronto’s road losing streak to eight games.
DeMarcus Cousins had 25 points and 13 rebounds while Jason Thompson added 13 and 10 for the Kings, who broke a three-game losing streak.
Kyle Lowry had 34 points and 11 assists while Mickael Pietrus tallied 21 points for the Raptors, who are just 1-11 away from home this season. DeMar DeRozan scored 14 points and Ed Davis added 13 and 11 rebounds.
Lowry scored 29 second-half points, and his two free throws with 2:29 left tied the score at 95. Evans hit his first 3-pointer 14 seconds later and added another with 1:43 remaining to give the Kings the lead for good.
Cousins had 14 first-half points as Sacramento took a 55-47 halftime lead. The Kings led 69-58 after a 3-pointer by John Salmons with 7:13 left in the third quarter, but Toronto rallied to trail by just two points entering the final stanza.
