Monta Ellis scored 24 points and Larry Sanders had 19 points and 15 rebounds as visiting Milwaukee ended a 24-game losing streak in Phoenix.

Brandon Jennings and Mike Dunleavy added 16 points apiece as the Bucks won in Phoenix for the first time since Feb. 21, 1987, and improved to 4-2 under interim coach Jim Boylan.

Shannon Brown scored 20 points and Luis Scola had 16 for Phoenix, which has lost seven of eight games. The Suns have dropped four consecutive home games for the first time since the 2003-04 campaign.

Phoenix had a 75-70 lead entering the final quarter and a four-point advantage with 6:26 left in the game before the Bucks erupted with a 14-2 run. Sanders’ dunk with 2:34 to go put Milwaukee ahead to stay and Dunleavy’s 3-pointer made it 94-86 with 57.4 seconds left.

Milwaukee built an 11-point, first-quarter lead and was up 32-22 after one. The advantage was 12 after Dunleavy’s 3-pointer with 6:43 left in the half before Phoenix used a 17-5 run to pull even. The Suns led 56-53 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dunleavy had four of Milwaukee’s six 3-pointers and three of the team’s 11 blocks. … Suns F Jared Dudley (wrist) had 13 points in 32 minutes in his return from a two-game absence. … The victory was Milwaukee’s first road win this season against a Western Conference team, improving it to 1-5.
