David West led Indiana with 14 points while Hill had 13 and Paul George finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists. Wayne Ellington came off the bench to pace the Grizzlies with 17 points.
Memphis went over five minutes without a basket in the fourth quarter before Randolph's hook in the lane cut the Pacers' lead to 78-74 with 4:07 left. Conley hit a pull-up jumper moments later to get Memphis within two points and then canned a 3-pointer to put the hosts on top with 2:10 to go.
George answered seconds later with a 3-pointer of his own and Randolph tied it after Tony Allen stripped Indiana center Roy Hibbert underneath the Memphis hoop. After George was bottled up underneath fighting through screens, Hill drove to the right of the lane with the clock winding down and Conley caught him on the arm.
