Tim Duncan had 18 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots and Manu Ginobili had 18 points and nine assists as San Antonio defeated host Chicago.

Kawhi Leonard scored 14 points, Tiago Splitter had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Patty Mills added 13 points as the Spurs won for the ninth time in 11 games. San Antonio is 2-0 since losing standout point guard Tony Parker for a month due to an ankle injury.

Marco Belinelli scored 21 points and Luol Deng added 19 for the Bulls, who shot just 36.7 percent from the field.

San Antonio took control with a 14-0 surge over the end of the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth to build an 80-68 advantage with 10:03 to play. The lead reached 90-73 on a 3-pointer by Mills midway through the stanza.

The Bulls rolled off 15 straight points in the second quarter to take a 46-32 lead with 4:05 left in the half before San Antonio closed strong to trail 52-47 at the break.
