Rockets 108, Timberwolves 100: James Harden and Jeremy Lin combined for 44 points in the second half to help Houston rally from 20 points down and knock off visiting Minnesota.

Harden finished with 37 points and Lin had 24 for the Rockets, who set a team record for 3-pointers in a season while improving to 2-0 on their season-long seven-game homestand. Houston committed only three turnovers in the second half after producing 15 in a dismal first 24 minutes.

Derrick Williams and J.J Barea scored 19 points apiece for the Timberwolves, who scored 20 points off turnovers in the first half but none after intermission.

When Greg Stiemsma scored 19 seconds into the third quarter, Minnesota held a commanding 59-39 lead over the mistake-prone Rockets. Harden's 3-pointer moments later ignited the second-half charge, during which he made three 3s and Lin added a pair.

Lin's layup with 8:51 left forged an 82-82 tie, the first since it was 14-14, and he gave Houston the lead for good at 89-86 with another 3 with 5:30 to go. Harden made six free throws and Chandler Parsons scored seven points down the stretch as the Rockets pulled away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Rockets were 11-for-31 from beyond the arc, extending to seven games their season-high streak of games with at least 10 3s. ... Lin's 3-pointer early in the first quarter was the 706th of the season for Houston, which established the new team mark. The previous standard of 705 was set in 2006-07. ... PG Ricky Rubio contributed 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for Minnesota. Parsons had 14 points for Houston.
