Andray Blatche had 20 points and 12 rebounds and scored the tiebreaking basket with 55.5 seconds remaining as shorthanded Brooklyn rallied to beat visiting Washington.

Kris Humphries added 20 points and nine rebounds while Tyshawn Taylor and Mirza Teletovic scored 14 points apiece for the Nets, who rested starters Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez and Reggie Evans after being locked in as the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference with Sunday’s loss to Toronto.

John Wall had 18 points and 12 assists, Kevin Seraphin scored 17 points and Trevor Booker had 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Wizards, who have lost five straight games.

The Nets trailed by seven points with eight minutes to play. After Blatche’s go-ahead hoop, Taylor drained a 3-pointer with 22 seconds left to complete the scoring as Brooklyn won for the fifth time in six games.

Washington shot 63.2 percent from the field in the first half en route to a 56-50 lead at the break. The lead was 10 with less than four minutes left in the third quarter before Brooklyn cut its deficit to 77-73 entering the final 12 minutes.
