: Ty Lawson finished a 26-point night with the go-ahead jumper in the closing seconds as visiting Denver secured home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Wilson Chandler scored 21 points and Andre Iguodala had 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for the Nuggets, who have won seven of eight and are on the verge of locking up the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. They lead Memphis by one game and the Los Angeles Clippers by 1 1/2 with one game to play.

Monta Ellis had 38 points and J.J. Redick scored 20 off the bench for Milwaukee, which lost its fifth straight and fell for the 12th time in 15 games. Ellis' effort included 18 points in the fourth quarter and a four-point play with 14.2 seconds left that gave the Bucks a short-lived 111-110 lead.

Lawson answered with a jumper with 9.3 ticks remaining and Redick, who had 11 points in the fourth, missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer. There were 12 lead changes in the final quarter, including three in the final 25.4 seconds.

The Bucks trailed by 12 early and were down by 10 in the third but grabbed a 100-98 lead on Ellis' 3-pointer with 4:32 remaining. Denver answered with six straight points and had a 110-107 edge after Andre Miller hit two free throws with 25.4 seconds left.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nuggets SF Kenneth Faried sat out one game after spraining his left ankle. He will also sit Wednesday's regular-season finale against Phoenix but is considered day-to-day. ... Bucks C Larry Sanders (back) missed his third straight game. ... Milwaukee finishes the regular season Wednesday at Oklahoma City.
