Lance Stephenson matched a career high with 22 points and Paul George collected 21 and 13 rebounds as host Indiana eased past Cleveland.
Roy Hibbert added 11 points and the Pacers dominated the glass 51-37 in moving to 3-0. Stephenson went 5-of-7 from 3-point range and George knocked down three from beyond the arc.
Dion Waiters scored 17 points, Kyrie Irving had 15 and Anderson Varejao chipped in 14 for the Cavaliers, who dropped to 0-2 on the road after beginning the season with a home win. Cleveland struggled to 34.9 percent from the field, including 3-for-15 from beyond the arc.
Indiana ended the first quarter with a 13-4 run to grab a 21-16 lead and never trailed again. George’s 3-pointer with 58 seconds left in the third quarter stretched the lead out to 62-49 before a brief run sliced it back to a seven-point edge entering the final period.
Orlando Johnson and Stephenson buried 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions beginning the fourth to pushed the lead back to double figures. A deep 3-pointer from Stephenson with 7:46 to play lengthened it out to 79-61 and the Pacers cruised to the finish.
