Trail Blazers 104, Kings 91: Damian Lillard scored 22 points and Portland had six players total 10 or more in a home win over Sacramento.
Lillard added eight rebounds and seven assists for the Trail Blazers, and combined with Wesley Matthews for 40 points out of the Portland backcourt. Matthews finished with 18 points and seven rebounds and LaMarcus Aldridge added 20 points and seven boards for Portland, which beat the Kings on the boards 47-31.
DeMarcus Cousins got back on track for the Kings, leading the team with a season-high 35 points and nine rebounds after totaling only 19 points in Sacramento's last two games. Cousins shot 13-of-25 from the floor but his teammates combined for just 23-of-61 as the Kings found themselves playing from behind once again.
After closing the first half with a 54-49 edge, the Blazers doubled up Sacramento 18-9 deep into the third quarter to take control of the game. The Kings cut the deficit to six points on three different occasions in the second half but Portland took a 77-66 lead into the fourth quarter and Sacramento was unable to close the gap.
Aldridge had half of his point total in the fourth as the Blazers sent the Kings to their fourth straight loss. Portland recorded its fourth straight 100-point game just five games into the season after never recording more than three in a row all of last year.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Matthews passed Portland Hall-of-Famer Clyde Drexler, moving into fifth place on the team's all-time 3-point field goal list. ... Portland PG Mo Williams was 0-for-2 from 3-point range, dropping to 1-of-14 on the season. ...
